Team Radiant is pleased to announce the release of…
…wait for it…
…wait some more…
…the Stonehearth Graphics Test! This is a small program running our Stonehearth engine that, with your help, will enable us to find and fix important performance and compatibility bugs before we launch the Preview release in December. Also, there are bunnies.
You can download the test right here.
You’ll also notice a pop-up asking you to opt-in to send us anonymous data about the Stonehearth Graphics Test’s performance on your computer. This is completely optional, but having this data will help us make Stonehearth run as fast as possible on the widest range of computer hardware. If you opt-in, your computer will send us the following data:
- The kind of CPU you have
- Your video card make and model
- The OpenGL version supported by your video card
- Your total system memory
- The frame-rate of the game
We’d appreciate you reporting any issues you see (crashes, poor performance) in the Discourse forum post.
We’re super excited to be able to bring you this (very small) taste of Stonehearth, as we get nearer to our December release.
Happy testing!
